We want to thank everyone who donated and helped us raise money thought events, selling items though our vendors and by donating time and work. We would like to ask everyone who has a MFA Vendors to please take them back to your inventory and delete them.
For 2008, we will be using a new and better updated vendor script.
None of this could have been done without the hard work of everyone involved in this years show. A big thank you to all of you! * Vanity Affair was nominated in two categories. On request from the owner the name that appeared in the voting system was changed from Ziamela Loon to Vanity and traveller Bade to Vanity. Total number of votes as Ziamela Loon = 132, number of votes as Vanity = 211 (all together = 343). Total number of votes as traveller Bade = 149, number of votes as Vanity = 197 (all together = 346). On April 23rd these names were changed back, once again, on the owners requests.

*** Total number of votes = 7698. Votes from visitors younger then 30 days = 280. These votes were registered but not applied to the nominees. The MFA Rules states that only SL residents who are over 30 days of age can vote.

Asset server issues, network issues, teleport issues and a few other things could not stop the show. We would like to appologize to our booked artists though for missing out but streaming servers was not something that worked well at all.

Remember that votes close at noon April 26th (second life time) so make sure you get your votes in! Our Awards Show on April 26th at 4PM (second life time) we will offer you live performances by no other then SpaceJunky, Moxy Barraccuda, Rosendrop Rust, Thumper Boucher and Jax Streeter!
To see the show, buy your tickets now! Ticket sales goes towards our 2008 MFA Fund-raiser! Be quick as they are going fast! Simply visit the MFA Theater on our main regions and select the seat you want. Pay and it is all done!
Its a formal event so get your fabulous dresses together and make sure you dont miss out on the show of the year!
MFA will host a fashion auction, “Fashion Cares” at the famous Moulin Rouge Nightclub and Lounge from 1-3PM on April 26th directly before the MFA Awards Gala which will begin at 4PM.
Designers from all over SL will be donating original or best selling outfits for the action. Participants will bid on each outfit which will be modeled during the event, designers will receive 25% of the profits and the other 75% will be donated to our 2008 MFA Fund-raiser.
Please plan to come with Lindens in hand for this great cause! If you’d like to model the fashions for this event, please contact Xanthia Lisle or Kris Harmison at the Moulin Rouge.
